The Wisconsin Labor History Society invites high school students to write an around seven hundred fifty word essay for a contest encouraging labor history study in schools. The topic is "Unions have been important to my family and community because..." It should be sent by February 25 to the University of Wisconsin Green Bay's Professor Harvey Kaye at the Center for History and Social Change. Call 920- 465-2355 for details.

The Home Chore Volunteer Program, is seeking volunteers to help older people by doing household chores, such as snow shoveling, that may be difficult for them, making living at home impossible. Call 223-3100 for more information, or, to volunteer.

Wednesday evening there is a "Timebank Game Night and Annual meeting. Timebanking is based on a barter and exchange system On the agenda are elecday ting a Board of Directors, socializing, and snacks. Evening Meals on Wheels needs volunteers to deliver hot, nutritious, low-cost meals to older and differently abled people. Locations are flexible and the time commitment is about one hour per shift. For details call 274-7978.

Tuesday at noon on WORT's A Public Affair host Willy Becker speaks with Madison psychotherapist, Ingeborg Casey. They'[ll talk about her recently written memoir, "The Heart Moves in a Circular Motion." Call 256-2001 for details.

Tuesday the Madison Children's Museum hosts a "Tots in Motion" program. Kathleen Madden leads toddlers in games and other physical activities to strengthen gross motor skills. This program takes place every Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:00. Call 256-6445 for details.

Family Planning Health Services is a private, non-profit, community based, confidential reproductive health care giver in Central Wisconsin.
