Tomorrow, the Madison Area Peace Coalition holds a “Not One More Death, Not One More Dollar ” protest. Attendees will march to State Capitol and Veterans Museum to urge Congressional Representatives to vote no to the supplemental war appropriations bill this March. Tomorrow afternoon, the Wisconsin Books to Prisoners Project holds it's regular meeting. Books to Prisoners is for all those interested in getting educational resources to those inside the system and also educating those on the outside. Sunday, there is a free screening of the 2001 documentary “Tragedy in the Holy Land” by Chicago-based filmmaker Dennis Mueler. This evening Madison Hours holds its monthly potluck and trade fair for the local currency community. Attendees are invited to bring a dish to pass and enjoy conversation with other Hours members. It is in the Social Justice Center, 1202 Williamson Street at 6:00. Call 259-9050 for details.

This evening, the Madison Peak Oil & Climate Change Meet-up screens the films "The Power of Community" and "The New Interval". These respectively describe how Cuba transitioned to a more sustainable economy after the loss of Soviet oil, and how Burlington, Vermont transformed an urban wasteland into a big community farm and network of related enterprises.
