This evening, the Peregrine Forum meets to discuss “The 1948 Palestine War and Ethnic Cleansing of Palestinians”. This is part of the Forum's ongoing series on the Israeli Palestinean Conflict. This evening, the Madison chapter of the Holistic Moms Network holds an open house. This event includes free chair massages, refreshments and door prizes. The Holistic Moms Network is a non-profit organization connecting parents who are passionate about holistic health and green living. Tonight, there is a talk with John Magnuson, UW-Madison Professor Emeritus of Limnology. He will speak on “Climate Change in Wisconsin: Learning to Adapt” - about the impacts from climate change in Wisconsin and what adaptations might be effective in maintaining the quality of life here. Tonight, the Labor & Working Class Studies Project presents a panel to discussion Media and the Wisconsin Labor Struggle. Members of the panel are Lisa Graves, Center for Media and Democracy; Bob McChesney, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; John Nichols, The Nation; Matt Rothschild, The Progressive; Molly Stentz, WORT-FM Community Radio; and Norm Stockwell, WORT-FM Community Radio. The Labor & Working Class Studies Project is a collaborative campus-labor-community initiative to connect the campus and the community in dialogue and action on issues related to labor and working class people. Starting tomorrow, StageQ presents the Midwestern premier of “Make Me a Song”, with over 25 songs from Tony Award winning composer, William Finn. The production is directed by Tara Ayres, music directed by Bruce Wheeler and choreographed by Cindy Severt. This is at the Bartell Theatre, 113 East Mifflin Street, next and subsequent Thursdays at 7:30, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 and one Sunday matinee on March 20 at 2:00 pm. It runs through March 26.
