This afternoon the A.E. Havens Center host a talk with Nancy Folbre of the Department of Economics at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. It is entitled, “The Socialist Imaginary.” This is at 4:00 in room 8417 of the Social Science” building. Call 262-1420 for details.

Tomorrow morning there is the Interfaith Coalition (ICWJ) eleventh annual Faith and Labor Breakfast. Speaker Reverend Trina Zelle from the “Arizona Interfaith Alliance for Worker Justice” in Phoenix, Arizona will discuss how SB 1070, Arizona's anti-immigrant law, has affected workers and what people can do to fight such a law from being passed in Wisconsin.  This is at 8:00. From today through February twenty-sixth “Mother Fool’s” Coffeehouse hosts an art exhibit. It is co-sponsored by the “South Central Wisconsin Move to Amend” group and others. This is entitled, “Corporations are Persons Now”. In it artists respond to the shock of corporate governance brought on by the 2010 Supreme Court decision known as “Citizens United.” This is at 1101
