This afternoon “the American Association of Retired Persons” volunteers help people fill out and file Federal personal income tax. This is from 1:30 to 4:30 in the “meeting room” of the “Pinney Branch Library, 204 Cottage Grove Road. For details or to reserve a one half hour spot call 224-7100.
 
This afternoon the “Goodman South Madison branch” library hosts a “Teen Tuesday.” Teens in grades six through twelve are invited to quote “bring some skills and imagination to show off your talents in a wide array of art and technology workshops”. Tomorrow morning the South Central Federation and others rally against Governor Walker’s so-called “war” against state workers. Participants will meet at Madison Masonic Center, 301 Wisconsin Avenue at 10:00.  They will then rally by the State Capitol at 11:00. Call 556-9521 for details.

Today People are urged by the South Central Federation of Labor and others to call State Senators urging them to vote against Governor Walker’s bill to gut state employee rights at 1-877-753-5578.
