This afternoon American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) volunteers will help people fill out and file Wisconsin and Federal personal income taxes. This is from 1:00 to 4:00 in the Sequoya branch Library, 4340 Tokay Boulevard. For details or to reserve a one half hour spot call 266-6385.

This afternoon the “Goodman South Madison branch” library hosts a “Teen Tuesday.” Teens in grades six through twelve are invited to quote “bring some skills and imagination to show off your talents in a wide array of art and technology workshops”. This evening there is a showing of Doctor Robert Reuschlein's documentary entitled, “Peace Economics.” It is quote “about the economic disaster created by high levels of military spending for long periods of time”. “Dane County Friends of Ferals” needs homes for outdoor cats. For a small fee, food, water and shelter the cats are neutered or spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and tested for “Feline Leukemia Virus” and “Feline Immunodeficiency Virus”. Call 467-4067 for details.

People who cannot afford a lawyer or, are not qualified for free legal representation may get help. They may call the “University of Wisconsin Law School’s Consumer Law Clinic” at 263-6283.

Low cost spayings and neuterings for dogs and cats are available through the Dane County Humane Society. There are various times and prices and they include an FVRCP vaccine.
