This afternoon the “Goodman South Madison branch” library hosts a “Teen Tuesday.” Teens in grades six through twelve are invited to quote “bring some skills and imagination to show off your talents in a wide array of art and technology workshops”. This afternoon the Meadowridge branch library has an event for kids who want to bring a favorite book in and read to a dog friend. This is at 4:00 in the “Robinson room” of 5740 Raymond Road. Call 288-6160 for details.

This evening participants are invited to come to the “Sequoya” branch library for a friendly game of chess. It is open to people of all ages and abilities. This is at 6:00 in 4340 Tokay (say: Toe-k) boulevard. Call 266-6385 for details.
People who cannot afford a lawyer or, are not qualified for free legal representation may get help. They may call the “University of Wisconsin Law School’s Consumer Law Clinic” at 263-6283.

Low cost spayings and neuterings for dogs and cats are available through the Dane County Humane Society. There are various times and prices and they include an FVRCP vaccine. Caretakers of feral or free-roaming cats can be helped as well. Call 838-0413 extension 103 for an appointment or details.
