This morning the “South Central Federation of Labor” holds a silent rally outside the State Capitol building to protest the inauguration as Governor of Scott Walker. It has been initiated by his policies regarding cutting pay and benefits for thousands of workers among other things. This is at 11:15 outside the State Capitol building. Call 256-5111 for details.
 
This evening the group, “One Wisconsin Now” hosts “Rock the Pantry.” It is a benefit with all proceeds going to charities assisting people hardest hit by the economic collapse.
