This evening, the Stoughton Area Democrats and Progressives host the first Dane County Executive Candidate Forum. Zach Brandon, Scott McDonell, Joe Parisi and Joe Wineke are attending. Tonight, South Central WI Move to Amend hosts a wake to commemorate Citizens United v. FEC. The ruling, passed down one year ago, allows corporations to spend unlimited dollars from general funds to sway voters with no reporting requirements. Tomorrow, the Phoenix Forum Political Recap discusses "The Future of the Left in an Armed Madhouse”. This is at Orient House Restaurant, 626 South Park Street from noon to 2. For more details, call 442-8399.

Tomorrow afternoon, Joy First will report on her participation in Witness Against Torture actions in Washington, DC. from January 11 to 13. Participants will also share ideas and discussion on where want to take the movement next. This is from 2 to 4 at Saint John’s Lutheran, 322 East Washington Avenue. Tomorrow, OutReach hosts a Lesbian and Bi Women's Focus Group. The group's goal is about how to provide messages to the LGBT community about healthy and unhealthy relationships.
