On the 2nd Thursday of each month, The Silly Yak Bakery & Bread Barn donates 10% of its day’s sales to an organization in and around Madison. This Thursday's recipient is Three Gaits Therapeutic Center in Stoughton. Three Gaits is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide an effective therapeutic horsemanship program for children, youth, and adults with disabilities and special needs. The Silly Yak Bakery & Bread Barn is located at 7866 Mineral Point Road.

This evening, the Peregrine Forum hosts a discussion entitled "The Holocaust of European Jewry and the Post-World War II Refugee Question" as part of the series on the history of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. Tonight, the International Socialist Organization hosts a public forum with Joel Geier, Marxist economist and associate editor of International Socialist Review magazine. Sunday evening, Madison Infoshop hosts a Valentine’s Day Eve Bash and fundraiser. The event features activist speed dating, a fair trade dark chocolate tasting courtesy of Family Farm Defenders), a kissing booth, clove orange, a romantic movie, and other activities.
