Tonight, the Madison Labor Temple hosts Protecting Workers Rights Training. Participants can learn more about how to fight back against corporate special interest attacks like Right to Work and Paycheck Deception that would take away rights as union members. This evening, the Peregrine Forum hosts a discussion on "The Post-World War Two Refugee Question, the Jewish Revolt in Palestine, and the 1947 United Nations Partition Plan". Tonight, sports writer Dave Zirin premiers his new film, "Not Just a Game: Power, Politics & American Sports" as a benefit for The Progressive Magazine and Rainbow Bookstore Cooperative. Tomorrow night, the James Watrous Gallery hosts an Opening Reception for “Wisconsin Labor: A Contemporary Portrait.” The exhibit reflects the diversity of Wisconsin’s labor force and provides a meditation on the nature of labor, as seen through the lens of six artists. This is at the Overture Center, 201 State Street, from 5:30 to 7:30, and runs through April 10.
