The
public is invited to attend the exhibit titled "Penokee [Pee-no-key]:
Explore the Iron Hills" on the 2nd floor of the State Capitol Rotunda in Madison June 2nd
to June 10th. This exhibit will includes works by 20 artists along
with metallic mining history, natural history, geology, and cultural and Native
American perspectives about the Penokee Mountain Range of Northern Wisconsin.
Join
the Aldo Leopold Nature Center as part of
“Take a Stake in the Lakes Days” This is a day of outdoor fun to
maintain and restore the Nature Center's grounds; which include a prairie,
forest, pond, wetlands, and Oak Savannah.

The
Clean Sweep Hazardous Waste Site has
new summer hours. Hours of
operation are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00
p.m. The site is located on 2302 Fish Hatchery Road. During redesign/reconstruction of Fish Hatchery Road, please use the Badger Road
entrance.
