This week is Madison West High Fine Arts Week with perfomances and demonstrations all week from 8:15 am-3:35 pm including a pottery and jewelry sale.  West High School is located at 30 Ash St.  The event is free and all are welcome. Call 204-4100 for specific event details.

The Catholic Multicultural Center (CMC) is offering the free weekly job skills workshop “Preparing for the Interview”.  This is taught by a retired Human resources professional.  The class is offered on Tuesdays 9:30am to 11:30am. Do you have an idea on how to better Madison's extensive pedestrian and bicycling opportunities? There will be a public hearing by the Madison Pedestrian/Bicycle/Motor Vehicle Commission.  This is at 6 p.m. in Room 260 of the Madison Municipal Building, 215 MLK Jr. Blvd.  Written comments are accepted through June 1. Tonight is the Annual Membership Meeting of the Madison Hours.  This is at the Social Justice Cooperative Center, 1202 Williamson St. at 7:30pm.  Go to madisonhours.org for more information.
Every weekday at noon the “Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice” hosts a “Solidarity Sing-a-long” at the Wisconsin State Capitol building. Song books will be provided. Call 250-9240 for details.
