This week is Madison West High Fine Arts Week with perfomances and demonstrations all week from 8:15 am-3:35 pm including a pottery and jewelry sale.  West High School is located at 30 Ash St.  The event is free and all are welcome. Call 204-4100 for specific event details.

The Catholic Multicultural Center (CMC) is offering the free weekly job skills workshop “Preparing for the Interview”.  This is taught by a retired Human resources professional.  The class is offered on Tuesdays 9:30am to 11:30am. Do you have an idea on how to better Madison's extensive pedestrian and bicycling opportunities? There will be a public hearing by the Madison Pedestrian/Bicycle/Motor Vehicle Commission.  This is at 6 p.m. in Room 260 of the Madison Municipal Building, 215 MLK Jr. Blvd.  Written comments are accepted through June 1.
