Today is primary day in Wisconsin’s historic recall election.  Don’t forget to get out and vote!  Voters go to the polls between 7 am and 8 pm.   For specific candidate information go to ci.madison.wi.us/clerk or call 266-4601.

This evening is the monthly meeting of the Dane County Chapter of United Nations Association – USA.  This month includes a talk by Susan O'Leary on the Cambodian School Project. This is in the Anderson Auditorium of Predolin Hall at Edgewood College at 7pm. For more information go to unadane.com

Green Tuesdays presents the film “Homo Toxicus” from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Monona Public Library, 1000 Nichols Road.  This is about how the average citizen is unaware of daily exposure to toxic chemicals and the long-term effects toxic substances. Go to www.tnsmonona.org for more information. 

Tomorrow, as part of non-profit day, is the workshop “Building Community: Seven Lessons Learned along the Way!”  This is at the Goodman Community Center, 149 Waubesa St at 1:00 to 2:30 pm. To register, go to 7lessonslearned.eventbrite.com or call 241-3616. A donation is requested.

The Clean Sweep Hazardous Waste Site has new summer hours.  Hours of operation are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The site is located on 2302 Fish Hatchery Road.  During redesign/reconstruction of Fish Hatchery Road, please use the Badger Road entrance.
