“The Wisconsin Uprising of 2011 – And Beyond” is the topic of a free public forum that will be presented by the Madison Institute, tonight, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at the Morgridge Auditorium in the UW Business School, 975 University Avenue. The principal speaker will be Madison journalist John Nichols. His presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with Lisa Graves, who is the Executive Director of the Center for Media and Democracy, and Mary Bell, who is the President of the Wisconsin Education Association Council. The Madison premiere of the new Greenwald Film: ‘Koch Brother's Exposed!’ will be at the Barrymore Theatre, 2090 Atwood Avenue tonight at 7:30. The film features interviews with Bernie Sanders, Jim Hightower, Van Jones, John Nichols and Lisa Graves, and more. The film will be followed by a discussion of the role the Koch's have played in funding ALEC and meddling in Wisconsin politics. Madison Country Day School Theater Department presents our spring musical 'Little Shop of Horrors' this Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm.  Tickets are available at the door at 5606 River Rd in Waunakee. Seniors, military, and children 4 and under are free.  Call 268-0610 for details.

The Southwest Wisconsin Area Progressives and the Mt. Horeb Area Recall Team are having a “RECALL RESALE” from 8AM to 6PM this Saturday at the Liberty Park Shelter in Mount Horeb. Bring any salable priced items to the shelter at 8 AM. All proceeds go to “United Wisconsin”. As this is a one day sale, donors are asked to bring priced salable items to the shelter by 8 am.
