The Madison Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, presents ‘Colour Me’ Film Screening & Panel Discussion: A new documentary sparks fresh conversation about racial identity.  The event will be held today at 12:50 and 6:00 PM at Verona Area High School Performing Arts Center located at 300 Richard Street, Verona.  The event is free and open to the public.  Tickets are available at:   http://colourmemacdst.eventbrite.com on a first come, first serve basis.  ‘Colour Me’ is sponsored by American Family Insurance, Verona Are High School, The Boys and Girls Club of Dane County, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, UMOJA Magazine and the Urban League of Greater Madison.

SOCRATES CAFE, an informal philosophy discussion group invites you to its meetings Mondays at 7pm at Redamte Coffee House 429 State Street. Tonight’s topic question will be "Is it more important to make sad people happy or make happy people happier?"

A free film screening of "Hot Coffee: Is Justice Being Served," followed by Q&A with Attorney Rhonda Landford, of Habush, Habush & Rottier will be tonight at 6 pm, at the Sun Prairie Public Library, 1650 Linnerud Drive. Call 825-0702 for details.

Eboo Patel is the author of the award-winning book, Acts of Faith: The Story of an American Muslim, the Struggle for the Soul of a Generation. He will be speaking tonight at 7:30 PM at the Tripp Commons in the Memorial Union. His core belief is that religion is a bridge of cooperation rather than a barrier of division. He has spoken about this vision at places like the Clinton Global Initiative and the Nobel Peace Prize Forum. He writes about it regularly in The Washington Post and The Huffington Post.
