Today at 4:00 pm, The Wisconsin Books to Prisoners meets to get quality reading material and educational opportunities to those who are behind bars. Donations of new soft cover books are also most welcome. Rainbow Bookstore is located at 426 W Gilman St.  Call 257-6050 for details.

Progressive Dane's General Membership Meeting presents a panel on Housing, Homelessness, Occupy and Beyond. This will be at the Hawthorne Branch Public Library, 2707 E Washington Ave., tonight from 6:00 to 7:50pm.  Call 358-2940 for more information.

In preparation for the “Procession of the Species” parade on June 23^rd, there will be a Giant Puppet & Mask-Making Workshop.  This will be at the  Lucky Mojo Studio, 2717 Atwood Ave,  from noon-4 pm Saturdays and 6-9 pm on Wednesdays.
