The Colombia Support Network Film Series begins tonight with the free screening and discussion of the film, "The War We Are Living: Women, War & Peace in Colombia”.  This is in room 206 of Ingraham Hall, 1155 Observatory Dr. at 6:30pm.  Go to www.colombiasupport.net or call 257-8753 for the series details.

The Revolutionary Ideas of Karl Marx; A public forum with Alan Maass is tonight at 7:30pm.  This is in room D240, Madison College, 211 N. Carroll St.  Call the International Socialist Organization at 492-1053 for more information.

The public is invited to attend the exhibit titled "Penokee [Pee-no-key]: Explore the Iron Hills" on the 2nd floor of the State Capitol Rotunda in Madison June 2nd to June 10th. This exhibit will includes works by 20 artists along with metallic mining history, natural history, geology, and cultural and Native American perspectives about the Penokee Mountain Range of Northern Wisconsin.

The 25th Annual Take a Stake in the Lakes volunteer cleanup of Dane County’s lakes and streams will be held on June 9th and 16th but volunteers can join in the fun anytime June 1-17.
