The 25th Annual Take a Stake in the Lakes volunteer cleanup of Dane County’s lakes and streams will be held on June 9th and 16th but volunteers can join in the fun anytime June 1-17. The public is invited to attend the exhibit titled "Penokee [Pee-no-key]: Explore the Iron Hills" on the 2nd floor of the State Capitol Rotunda in Madison June 2^nd to June 10^th. This exhibit will includes works by 20 artists along with metallic mining history, natural history, geology, and cultural and Native American perspectives about the Penokee Mountain Range of Northern Wisconsin.
