This evening the Rainbow Community Bookstore there is the next in a month of events concerning decentralized anarchist activities and events to promote visibility and outreach. This features “Conspiracy, the Musical”, “Security Culture 101”, “Grand Juries and How to Resist Them”, “State Repression, How Does it Work?”, and “Supporting Targets of Repression”. Tomorrow morning there is a protest of the Anti-LGBT “National Organization for Marriage” group in Madison. The right wing anti-gay marriage group “NOM” is doing a summer bus tour to promote quote “traditional marriage.” They are coming to Madison. The group protesting this will gather at 11:30 to meet them at the Capitol at noon. Call 255-8582 for details.

The Respite Center is a safe place for kids, ages birth to fourteen, whose families are under stress or in crisis. They are looking for volunteers to play with kids four hours a week. Training is required. Call 244-5730 for details.

Through July in the Mifflin Street Madison Public Library there is an art display. Quote “Jason Skoog uses mixed media on paper to create colorful, imaginative worlds with open-ended narratives.
