Q Cinema presents the film “I Can’t Think Straight”; a film about traditional marriage preparation highlighting the changing roles of Middle-Eastern women in a more global world. This is at 6:30pm at Outreach, 600 Williamson St. Contact Outreach at 255-8582 for more information.

The City Clerk's Office will hold Voter ID information session on requirements of the new Voter ID law & how to obtain a free ID for voting purposes from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Meadowood Neighborhood Community Center, 5734 Raymond Rd. Call the City Clerk’s office at 266-4601. More sessions will be held throughout Madison through December. To schedule a presentation for your group, contact the Clerk's Office.

Community Literacy is a Literacy Network ESL program designed to tutor adult learners one-on-one in a classroom setting where childcare and additional tutor support are available. Pick up an issue of Street Pulse, Madison's Homeless cooperative newspaper, for a suggested donation of $1.00 from any of our vendors located on State Street, Capital Square, and Willy Street Coop and in other locations. The Insurgent Radio Kiosk is a five minute pre-recorded segment featuring a commentary, this-day-in-history, and a calendar of daily events. Events must be low cost or non-profit and of interest to people in and around the WORT listening area and where other media might not highlight.
