Tonight the film Cultures of Resistance will have its Madison premier at the Madison World Music Festival. It is a feature-length documentary that celebrates the role of music, art and creativity in the battle for peace and justice on a world-wide scale. The film will be shown at 7 and 9 pm at the Play Circle in the Memorial Union and free and open to the public. The Memorial Union is located at 800 Langdon St. For more information call 265.3000.

There will be a presentation and discussion on human rights abuses in Honduras with Buddy Bell and Caitlin Roberts presenting their recent delegation to Honduras. A talk “The Attack on Public Education & the “Fight Back”: A Forum with Bill Ayers will be presented at Anderson Auditorium, Predolin Hall, Edgewood College tonight at 7:00pm. This public forum is in regard the attack on public education and ways to "fight back". Anderson Auditorium is located in Predolin Hall at the Edgewood College campus, 2200 Monroe St. Call 255-0240 for more information.

Community Literacy is a Literacy Network ESL program designed to tutor adult learners one-on-one in a classroom setting where childcare and additional tutor support are available.
