Tonight at 5pm at the State St. Steps of the State Capitol there will be a Rally to Defend Tenants’ Rights! The protest is for an anti-tenants' rights bill SB 107. Gather to let our legislators know that we're going to fight to protect and expand our rights as tenants. For more information, go to www.defendwisconsin.org.

Tonight at Edgewood College there will a talk by Phan Van Do about the Winds of Peace Project in Vietnam. This event is sponsored by the Madison Quakers. Pinney Library is hosting a study circle titled “Challenge Corporate Power – Assert the People’s Rights” This is the first meeting of a ten session study circle that will clarify how we’ve come to be governed by corporate culture. The Insurgent Radio Kiosk is a five minute pre-recorded segment featuring a commentary, this-day-in-history, and a calendar of daily events. Events must be low cost or non-profit and of interest to people in and around the WORT listening area. Wisconsin Books to Prisoners (WBTP) is a non-profit organization sponsored by “Rainbow bookstore” that sends books to prisoners in Wisconsin and other states.
