Tonight at 5pm at the State St. Steps of the State Capitol there will be a Rally to Defend Tenants’ Rights! The protest is for an anti-tenants' rights bill SB 107. Tonight at Edgewood College there will a talk by Phan Van Do about the Winds of Peace Project in Vietnam. This event is sponsored by the Madison Quakers. Pinney Library is hosting a study circle titled “Challenge Corporate Power – Assert the People’s Rights” This is the first meeting of a ten session study circle that will clarify how we’ve come to be governed by corporate culture. The Insurgent Radio Kiosk is a five minute pre-recorded segment featuring a commentary, this-day-in-history, and a calendar of daily events. Wisconsin Books to Prisoners (WBTP) is a non-profit organization sponsored by “Rainbow bookstore” that sends books to prisoners in Wisconsin and other states.
