Tonight, Rainbow Bookstore Cooperative hosts Dan La Botz who will speak on “The Labor Movement, the Left, and the Elections”. La Botz is a radical author, activist, and current Socialist Party candidate for the U.S. Senate. This is at the Bookstore, 426 West Gilman, at 7. Tonight, Madison Infoshop continues its Summer Out-Door Movie Series with “Wall-E”. The film chronicles the life of a robot named WALL-E, designed to clean up waste left behind on Earth. He eventually falls in love with another robot named EVE, and follows her into outer space on an adventure that changes both his destiny and that of humanity. Evening Meals on Wheels needs volunteers to deliver hot, nutritious low-cost meals to older and differently-abled people. Locations are flexible and the time commitment is about one hour per shift. For details call 276-7598.
