This evening the non-profit Madison West Coast Swing Club holds beginningwest coast swing dance lessons. “West Coast Swing” is a versatile partner-dance done to a variety of music, ranging from rhythm and blues to pop to country. This evening Madison Public Library’s Lakeview branch hosts a drop-in knitting group for people who wish to quote “learn at new craft” or “work on

The Insurgent Radio Kiosk is a five minute pre-recorded segment featuring a commentary, this-day-in-history, and a calendar of daily events. Events must be low cost or non-profit and of interest to people in and around the WORT listening area. It also should interest people who other media might not highlight. Project Home is seeking eligible Dane County volunteers to help low income elderly and differently-abled people whose homes need protection from the elements. Painting day is in mid-August. Call 246-3737 for details.
 
"The “Wheelchair Recycling Program” offers low cost, refurbished mobility and medical equipment to people that may not have the resources to obtain new.
