This evening the Madison Area Peace Coalition and others host the “Think Outside the Bomb National Tour.” It is the nation's largest grassroots network for nuclear abolition, organized collectively by volunteer youth. Tomorrow at noon the Hawthorne Branch Library offers training on the introduction and basics of computer use, internet searching, email, attachments and more. This is in 2707 East Washington Avenue. Call 246-4548 for details.

Project Home is seeking eligible Dane County homeowners needing the exterior of their homes painted. They are also looking for volunteers to help low income elderly and differently-abled people whose homes need protection for the elements. Painting day is in mid-August and application day for eligible homeowners is in mid-May. Call 246-3737 for details.

The Women and Infant Children Nutrition program offers a wide variety of services, food and nutrition information to help keep pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children less than five years of age healthy and strong. For details call 267-1111.

Evening Meals on Wheels needs volunteers to deliver hot, nutritious low-cost meals to older and differently abled people. Locations are flexible and the time commitment is about one hour per shift. For details call 276-7598.
