Tomorrow at noon on WORT’s A Public Affair the host speaks with people from “Eagle Rock”, where grassroots activists have occupied a proposed sulfide mining site for the past couple of weeks in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Wheelchair Recycling Program offers low cost, refurbished mobility and medical equipment to people that may not have the resources to obtain new. This can include wheelchairs, walkers, bath items, grab bars and other assistive equipment for purchase. There are offices in Madison and the Greater-Milwaukee area.
