This evening there is a meeting of Weston A. Price Foundation’s Madison Chapter. The topic is nutrient-dense foods, education and activism. This is in the Wilmar Neighborhood Center, 953 Jenifer Street at 7:00. Call 221-8696 for details.

Tomorrow at noon on WORT’s A Public Affair the host speaks with people from “Eagle Rock”, where grassroots activists have occupied a proposed sulfide mining site for the past couple of weeks in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is led by indigenous leaders in the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. Call 256-2001 for details.

The Wheelchair Recycling Program offers low cost, refurbished mobility and medical equipment to people that may not have the resources to obtain new. This can include wheelchairs, walkers, bath items, grab bars and other assistive equipment for purchase. There are offices in Madison and the Greater-Milwaukee area.
