Through Wednesday, February 27 StageQ Theatre hosts "Dark Night Shorts." It is a collection of one-act plays; five comedies and one poignant story by authors Linda Suzuki and Carol Mullen. This is in the Bartell Theatre, 113 East Mifflin Street at various times. For details call 661-9696.

Through Monday, February 25 the Wisconsin Labor History Society invites high school students to write for an essay contest which encourages student labor history study. The topic is "Unions have been important to my family and community because..." .
