This evening the “Alicia Ashman” branch of the Madison Public Library hosts a meeting of the “Science Fiction and Fantasy book group”. This month they will read “The Phoenix and the Sword” which is the first short story featuring “Conan” They will also watch the film “Conan the Barbarian” This is in 733 North High Point Road. Community Literacy is a Literacy Network English as a Second Language program designed to tutor adult learners one-on-one in a classroom setting where childcare and additional tutor support are available.
