This evening “Outreach” LGBTQA center hosts “Q-Cinema.” The feature is the French film, entitled, ”The Adventures of Felix.” This is at 6:30 in 600 Williamson Street. Call 255-8582 for details.

On August ninth and sixteenth Wisconsin faces State Senate recall elections. Poll watchers are needed for these days so that the fair elections can be insured. If listeners are interested in doing this they can log on and send an e-mail to pollwisconsin@gmail.com.

“Networks Exchange,” needle replacement program is an authorized, anonymous, community harm reduction plan. It is associated with the “AIDS Network.” They are open weekdays from 10:00 to 6:30. For details call 516-2158.

Community Literacy is a Literacy Network English as a Second Language program designed to tutor adult learners one-on-one in a classroom setting where childcare and additional tutor support are available.
