Tuesday the “Goodman South Madison branch” librarians help participants with updating computer skills or looking for a job. This begins at 10:00 in 2222 South Park Street. Call 266-6395 for details.

Every weekday at noon the “Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice” hosts a “Solidarity Sing-a-long” at the Wisconsin State Capitol building. Song books are provided. Call 250-9240 for details.

Tuesday evening at “Olbrich Gardens” Diane Schwartz brings in bubbles at 6:30 then at 7:00 the “Okinawan Taiko Drummers” perform. This is at 3330 Atwood Avenue. Call 266-6300 for details.

“Dane County Friends of Ferals” needs homes for outdoor cats. For a small fee, food, water and shelter the cats are neutered or spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and tested for “Feline Leukemia Virus” and “Feline Immunodeficiency Virus”. Call 467-4067 for details.

Community Literacy is a Literacy Network English as a Second Language program designed to tutor adult learners one-on-one in a classroom setting where childcare and additional tutor support are available.
