This afternoon the Madison-Rafah Sister City project and others host Ziad Abbas, Associate Director of the Middle East Children's Alliance. He will speak on “Water and Solidarity with Palestine”. This afternoon Madison Urban Ministry (MUM) hosts a “re-entry fair.” Madison members and particularly veterans and formerly incarcerated veterans are invited to learn about available community services. This evening the “East Isthmus Neighborhoods Planning Council” and others host a “People's Candidate Forum.” Mayor and County Executive candidates running in the spring 2011 elections will be forum participants. This evening “Community Action on Latin America” (CALA) hosts "TV Serrana: Documentaries from Cuba's Sierra Maestra Mountains." This evening “StageQ” hosts a free read-through of a new comic play, “Hamm in Love and War,” by Madison playwright Eric Appleton. The reading takes place on the Evjue stage at the Bartell Theatre, 113 East Mifflin Street at 7:00. It includes celebration birthday cake and champagne before and a feedback segment after the show.
