Today, the Safe Communities Falls Prevention Task Force hosts a workshop titled "Only Leaves Should Fall: Clear the Path for a Healthier Life". Each participant will have an opportunity to determine his/her own risk for falls and learn about resources to address the risks. Tonight, Clean Wisconsin hosts the Inaugural Event of the Doug La Follette Environmental Speakers Program. The speaker is Kassie Siegel who was the lead lawyer responsible for getting the polar bear listed as an endangered species. Shewill discuss what’s at stake in some of today’s hottest climate battles and how you can help save the planet before it’s too late. This weekend is the Great Midwest Marijuana Harvest Festival featuring exhibits, speakers, live music, plus rally on Sunday at 3:00 pm with a march to the State Capitol. This is Saturday and Sunday on the UW Library Mall. Check madisonhempfest.com for details.
