This evening the Madison Infoshop hosts the Muffin Club feminist discussion group. During these meetings the Infoshop will be space for women of all ages and walks of life, trans, and inter-sex people only. The discussion topic this month is “Pleasure.” It is at 7:00 in 1019 Williamson Street. Call 262-9036 for details.

This evening on WORT’s Access Hour the host plays some summery-sunny-indy-pop. This is at 7:00. Call 256-2001 for details.

Today through June twenty-seventh is WORT’s summer pledge drive. The theme is a summery "SPF 89.9". The station is looking for phone answerers and pledgers. It provides nifty premiums, lots of good food and a warm fuzzy feeling to pledge-takers. For details call 256-2001 and tell ‘em those nice “kiosk folks” sent you.

The Catholic Multicultural Center provides free meals Monday through Friday at 4:00 in 1862 Beld Street. Call 661-3512 for details.

The Wheelchair Recycling Program offers low cost, refurbished mobility and medical equipment to people that may not have the resources to obtain new. This can include wheelchairs, walkers, bath items, grab bars and other assistive equipment for purchase. There are offices in Madison and the Greater-Milwaukee area. The Respite Center is a safe place for kids, ages birth to fourteen, whose families are under stress or in crisis. They are looking for volunteers to play with kids four hours a week. Training is required. Call 244-5730 for details.
