Saturday from Noon to 5, at 2717 Atwood Ave., the old Atwood Community Center will host a free Giant Puppet and Mask Making Workshop for the Procession of Species Parade to be held June 20th! Today from 2 to 5 p.m., at Christ Presbyterian Church, 944 E. Gorham St., immigrants with legal questions about their immigration status can receive help through a free clinic staffed by Madison-area attorneys and students from the University of Wisconsin Law School. The clinic will be repeated the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month until September. Attorneys are available to offer consultations and case assessments on immigration issues, as well as help filling out immigration forms. More info at 257-4845 ext. 30

Sunday from 2 to 6 pm, the Goodman Community Center will celebrate the lives of Robert and Irwin Goodman, two brothers who gave their name along with many gifts to the Center and other causes throughout Madison. The celebration will include ice cream sundaes, bouncy castle, gym activities, music & stories by David Landau and water games if the weather is hot. The event is Free. This coming Wednesday, June 16th Rethreads will be putting on a fashion show with all proceeds going to the Respite Center at the High Noon Saloon with hair design by Kelly Z and Olivia. Doors open at 8 and there will be music by DJ The Real Jaguar, The Hemlines, Screaming Cyn Cyn and the Pons and a performance by Madison's Premiere Drag Queens.
