Tonight from 6 to 8 pm, OutReach (Madison's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center) and the East Madison Community Center, will sponsor a Summer Social (Meet, Eat & Mingle) at the East Madison Community Center, 8 Straubel Court, in Madison (off of Wright St.). Food, refreshments, music, and mixing-it up with cool, friendly people are planned. The event is free and open to the public. More info at 255-8582.

Olbrich Botanical Gardens, 3330 Atwood Avenue, offers a Garden Answer Service every Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m., until the end of August. A trained garden resource volunteer will be available in Olbrich's Schumacher Library. Questions can also be phoned in during those times at 246-5805 or e-mailed in advance to ljacobson@cityofmadison.com. Participants are asked NOT to bring diseased or infested plant materials to Olbrich. More information at 246-4550.

Tonight at 7pm, the Monona Terrace will host Concerts on the Rooftop at 1 John Nolen Drive in Madison. Tonight, Aaron Williams and the Hoodoo (Blues & Rock) will be featured. The series offers free live music every Thursday evenings in June and July on the Monona Terrace rooftop garden. In the case of inclement weather, call 261-4000 after 2:00 pm for concert location.

Today is the first day of the Oregon SummerFest in Oregon, WI. The four day event features a parade, Carnival Rides/Midway, Live Music, Softball Tournament , Classic Car, Truck and Bike Show, Water Wars Game, Youth Performances and a Parade of Bands Field Show. The 2nd and 4th Friday of each month, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Christ Presbyterian Church, 944 E. Gorham St., immigrants with legal questions about their immigration status can receive help through a free clinic staffed by Madison-area attorneys and students from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Attorneys are available to offer consultations and case assessments on immigration issues, as well as help filling out immigration forms. More info at 257-4845 ext. 30
