Today and until August 31, Mother Fools’ Coffee Shop, 1101 Williamson Street, will host an art exhibit titled BeMerry and Special Guest. The show is a bright and auspicious show of whimsy and color including fired glass works and digitally remastered photographs by Merry Dragovich and Special Guest. More info at 259-1301.

Registration is now open for Brian Lazorik’s Beginning Massage for Better Health. The 10-week class begins this Sunday at 6pm and will meet Tuesdays and Sundays at the Neighborhood House, 29 S Mills St. Topics include basic anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics. Today is the first day of the Sweet Corn Festival in Sun Prairie. The 4-day event, located at Angell Park, near the intersection of Highway 19 and Highway N, features a carnival with rides and games, food booths, live bands, a craft show, petting zoo, kiddie korner with large inflatables and more. Madison’s Recycling Away from Home is seeking volunteers to help with recycling and trash collection at Orton Park Music Festival next weekend. Since the city does not provide recycling services at most neighborhood events, Recycling Away from Home takes the task of setting up recycling bins, then checking and replacing bags as needed. Today is the deadline to register for the Olbrich Garden’s Flashlights and Fireflies Family Walk on Aug 27th at 8 pm. The program is aimed at children 5 to 8.
