This evening there is computer training in the Mifflin Street Library. Participants can get personalized one on one training in “beginning pcs, e-mail setup, introduction to the internet, finding magazine and newspaper articles and more”. This evening at the South Madison Branch Library participants have a chance to meet with educational advisor, Ileana Rodriguez. She is an outreach specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison at the “Adult and Student Services Center”. This is at 2222 South Park Street at 5:00. For details call 263-6787.

This evening the Madison Area Peace Coalition (MAPC) holds their monthly regular meeting. It is in the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center, 953 Jenifer Street at 6:30. Call 442-0030 for details.

Mornings adults sixty or older may get lunch. This is at 11:30 on weekdays in venues throughout Madison. A donation is requested. Call 251-8405 by noon the day before for details or to reserve a meal.

Madison Department of Health and Madison Free Health Services offer immunization clinics, well child exams, children’s dental health and support services for pregnant and postpartum women. Call 246-4516 for details.

Care Wisconsin offers many programs and services designed to help older adults. They offer coordinated health care and long-term support services for Medicaid-eligible older adults. These people may have chronic conditions requiring nursing home level of care, adult day centers and home care services. Call 240-0020 for details.
