THE HISTORY OF July 10th, I'm ___________________ .

AND I'm ___________________ . Today in 1787: In Philadelphia, as the nation's founding fathers debate the Constitution, a barbarous mob in the New Market area pelts a poor elderly woman thought to be a witch, shouting that she has caused a child's death.

During another attack two months ago, the woman's forehead was cut as an antidote to any evil spells she may have cast. Known as Korbmacher, the woman will die of today's injuries in eight days. The child's mother will be indicted for the assault.
