This afternoon the Mifflin Street Library hosts a workshop for job seekers. They will help participants work on resumes and cover letters, locate Internet Job sites, and apply for jobs online. This evening the North and Eastside Coalitions for Older Adults hosts the “Grupo Candela” playing Merenga and Salsa music in their series of summer concerts. This is in Warner Park, 1625 Northport Drive at 6:30. Senior transportation is available. Call 243-5252 for details.

Ongoing daily Olbrich Gardens hosts the “Blooming Butterflies”. Participants may stroll through the tropical rainforest and watch butterflies emerge from chrysalises daily in the Bolz Conservatory. This is from 10:00 to 4:00 in 3330 Atwood Avenue. Call 246-4550 for details.
