Friday evening at 7 pm, the Madison Area Transgender Association Support Group will meet at the Outreach Center, 600 Williamson Street. For details contact Outreach.org or by phone at 255-8582.

Saturday from 9 to noon, volunteers are needed at the UW Arboretum, 1207 Seminole Highway, for restoration activities and to learn about prairies and savannas. Tools and training are provided. Meet at the front steps of the Visitor Center . On Sunday, the Arboretum offers a 1-hour Butterfly Walk at 1:30 pm. For details 265-5214.

Friday evening at sundown, the Madison Infoshop (1019 Williamson Street) will offer a free outdoor screening of the 1994 Japanese animated film, “Pom Poko”. Bring snacks or non-alcoholic beverages to share, plus a blanket, chair or pillow. For details contact 262-9036.

Saturday, WYOU Community Television will hold a Fundraiser from 4 to 8 pm at High Noon Saloon, 401 East Washington Avenue. More details and a band schedule can be found at wyou.org.

Madison green living bike activist, “Thistle” will lead a bike ride to her “HOUSE CONCERT” in Cambridge . The bike ride will meet at the Willy Street Coop at 9 AM and proceed slowly and socially to Cambridge Wisconsin where riders can camp overnight in the backyard of host, “CACTUS JOE” 's house.
