Tuesday evening Madison Area Peace Coalition (MAPC) holds their monthly meeting. Featured will be excerpts from Michael Moore's film, “Sicko”. Wednesday morning sponsors “Planet Bike” and the “Wisconsin Bike Federation” have their third annual “Bacon on the Bike Path”. This is part of “Bike to Work week.” Fruit, donuts, juice, coffee, and Nueske’s bacon will be served and there will be an inflation station and tech support. The morning commuter station will be located on the bike path along the shores of Lake Monona between the Monona Terrace and Broom Street. This is from 7:00 to 10:00. Call 256-8510 for details.

Wednesday afternoon there is a protest against alleged crimes in Palestine and Israel. This is at the Caterpillar shareholder meeting. Participants may engage in creative street theater and leafleting to educate shareholders and passersby about Caterpillar. This is at 12:30 at the Northern Trust Bank Building, 50 South LaSalle Street in Chicago. Wednesday at noon there is a single payer healthcare rally. This is at the Madison City County Building, 215 Martin Luther King Junior boulevard. Call 442-0030 for details.

Wednesday at noon on WORT’s A Public Affair host Tonya Brito speaks with Jerome Gold, author of "Paranoia and Heartbreak: Fifteen Years in a Juvenile Facility." Call 256-2001 for details.
