Tuesdays through March the School for Workers and others hold four evening sessions entitled, "Labor History through Film part 3 Labor in the World Today". They use videos and other sources to look at some of the most noteworthy struggles of workers to improve their conditions in the contemporary world. This is in the Anderson United Way Center, 2059 Atwood Avenue on Tuesdays through April first from 5:30 to 8:30. Call 262-2112 for details.

Wednesday at noon on WORT's A Public Affair Esty Dinur speaks with Iraq and Afghanistan War veterans about the "Winter Soldier Hearings" to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Iraq attack. Call 256-2001 details.

Today and ongoing the South Madison Farmers Market Basket program offers a chance to get safe, affordable, healthy produce from small farmers. Boxes of seasonable produce may contain items such as, apples, beets, carrots, peppers and spinach.
