Wednesday evening there is a free showing of Al Gore’s ninety minute documentary “An Inconvenient Truth”. This is at RP’s Fork and Spoon Café’, 1133 East Wilson Street at 6:30. Call 204-2888 for details.

Wednesday evening there is a meeting and potluck of the Rainbow Community Co-op. Attendees are invited to review the co-o budget, talk about the highlights of last year and elect a new board of directors. This is at 6:30 in 426 West Gilman Street. Thursday at noon on WORT’s A Public Affair host Barbara Golden speaks with Silja Talvi on the true cost of “non-lethal” weaponry, particularly TASAR guns. Call 256-2001 for details.

The Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired hosts an exhibit of art made by and for people who are blind or visually impaired. Artists Albert Schmeige and Jamie Landolt will be featured. This is until January fifteenth at 754 Williamson Street. Call 237-8111 for details.
