This afternoon from 4 to 6pm, the TimeBanking and Wellness Builders' Workshop Series continues! Builders' Workshops are a learning and leadership building journey hosted by the Dane County TimeBank, Madison’s local mutual credit-time exchange. In today’s workshop you'll learn about a hospital-based TimeBank where timebanking is used to help recruit and train medical interpreters, two different models of health cooperatives, and other applications of cooperative economic models to improve individual and community health. Then, dive into the local Wellness Project with an open work session. This will be held at 1 South Pinckney. More info at danecountytimebank.org. The Wheelchair Recycling Program offers low cost, refurbished mobility and medical equipment to people that may not have the resources to obtain them new. This includes wheelchairs, walkers, bath items, grab bars and other assistive equipment for purchase. There are offices in Madison and the Greater-Milwaukee area.
