The fifth annual “Grillin’ for Peace” will feature 67 “old school” Weber grills arranged in a peace sign on the frozen lake. This takes place Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on the ice of Lake Wingra, just off Vilas Park Beach. Souper Bowl, the Annual Habitat for Humanity benefit, is Saturday from 2-8 pm. There is a soup & salad dinner, music by the UW Marching Band, the UW Brass ensembles, the West High School Jazz Band, and Daniel & the Lion. A ticket includes a ceramic art bowl to keep. There are now more than a dozen transactions a Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) customer can do online. Wisconsin ID card holders who need to renew their ID cards can now renew them online.
