There will be an end of the year celebration and fundraiser co-hosted by the Interfaith Coalition for Worker Justice and the Workers’ Rights Center. There will be music, drink and snacks. This is from 5 – 8pm at 1310 Morrison St. Please RSVP at 255-0376.

The Madison for the Penokees meeting is meeting to discuss what is happening locally to help save Lake Superior and the North Woods from corporate mining.  This is at the Madison Infoshop, 1019 Williamson St., at 7pm. Call 262-9036 for more information.

Tonight at 7pm, hear a report from activists who traveled to Washington, D.C., to protest the Tar Sands & the XL Pipeline. The meeting is located at the Arboretum Co-housing community room, 1137 Erin Street. Call Don at 222-9376 for more information.



Proud Theater fundraiser, a LGBTQ youth troupe, presents “Fromagination: Artisanal Cheeses & Perfect Companions”, an evening to celebrate youth with performances, refreshments and a silent auction.
