Today at 2pm, the lecture "Myth of the Social Volcano: Perceptions of Inequality and Injustice in Contemporary China" by Harvard University Professor Martin White will be held in room L196 of the Education Building on the UW Madison campus, 1000 Bascom Mall. Call 262-9337 for more information.

There will be ongoing information sessions on requirements of the new Voter ID law & how to obtain a free ID for voting purposes from 2:30-4:30 pm on December 1st, from 10:30 am-12:30 pm on December 2nd , 9:30-11:30 am December 3rd at St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, 2033 Fish Hatchery Rd. The lecture, “The Ethics of Witnessing the Holocaust: Polish Writers' Diaries from Occupied Warsaw” is hosted by The Center for Russia, East Europe and Central Asia Studies. This is in room 206 of Ingraham Hall, 1155 Observatory Drive. Call 262-3379 for more information.

Every weekday at noon and again at 4:30 on Thursdays, he “Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice” hosts a “Solidarity Sing-a-long” at the Wisconsin State Capitol building. Song books will be provided. Call 250-9240 for details.
