This evening the “Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom” holds a Book Club meeting. The discussion will concern the book, “The Lacuna”. Dinner at “El Pastor” restaurant, 2010 South Park Street, will followed by a discussion of the book. This is in another location. Call 250-9240 for details.

From now through January 2 “NECA” (National Electrical Contractors Association), the “International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers” (IBEW) and others have constructed the “Holiday Fantasy in Lights.” These are light pictures of bulldozers, Santa and his sleigh, a Menorah and other holiday items. This is in Olin- Turville Park across from the Coliseum daily from dusk to dawn. Call 239-7888 for details.

This month Mother Fool's Coffeehouse and Michigan artist “John French” offer radiant oil paintings. This is at 1101 Williamson Street in Madison. This is on-going daily. Call 259-1301 for details.

“Lifepoint” needle exchange program is associated with the “AIDS Resource Center in Wisconsin.” It prevents the spread of HIV by trading used needles for clean ones. They are anonymous, free and mobile. They offer HIV and Hepatitis C testing. In Madison participants may call 332-6169 for details.
