WYOU seeks musical artists of all genres are invited to create fun, festive and song-filled shows as part of their year-end fundraiser. Each artist will be given 25 minutes in the studio to perform as many songs as will fit within the time limit. The station asks that one song be a holiday song of the artist’s choosing, and adventurous arrangements are encouraged. The fundraiser runs from December 5 through December 12. Guitars for Vets provides free music lessons to Vets. After 6 lessons, the student can keep a guitar that has been donated to the Vet Center. Other instruments are available. Call The Madison Vet Center at 264-5342 or stop in at 706 Williamson Street, Suite #4 - across from the Elks Club.

Lifepoint Needle Exchange Program prevents the spread of HIV by trading used needles for clean ones. They also offer HIV and Hepatitis C testing. They are anonymous, free and mobile. It is associated with the AIDS Resource Center in Wisconsin. In Madison participants may call 332-6169 for details.
